Target Audience
Minute taking can be a challenging task and quite often individuals are asked to write minutes without any training. This practical course is for anyone who is responsible for writing minutes on a regular basis or is new to taking minutes.
Aims
Writing Minutes aims to provide a background to the roles of the Minute Taker, Chair and Meeting Member. The workshop will provide tips and techniques to improve listening, note taking and clear minute writing skills. Its main aim is to ensure delegates are confident and clear about their role as minute taker and know how to write up accurate, brief and clear minutes.

Target Audience
This workshop is for anyone who feels they need to develop their confident and assertive behaviour to influence people in both professional and personal situations.
Aims
The workshop aims to develop influencing skills by communicating positively and understanding the importance of planning outcomes. By increasing rapport and assertiveness skills as well as practising simple techniques, delegates will be much clearer about how their behaviour and communication has a direct effect on the outcomes they achieve. It aims to give delegates an understanding of a win/win situation and how to achieve this.

The main aim of the workshop is to give participant s the confidence to express their opinions and ideas clearly in any situation and with anyone. It will provide delegates with a range of tips and techniques to help develop and improve communication skills.

Aim
This programme is for anyone who is involved in chairing meetings and wishes to improve their effectiveness when organising and running meetings. The main aim of the programme is to raise awareness of the key issues which ensure meetings run smoothly and achieve their purpose. The course also considers and practises the main roles and responsibilities of the chair.
By the end of this course you will be better able to:

Target Audience:
This course is for anyone who needs more confidence with writing letters, emails and reports at work.
Aims
Writing is a skill, which is often taken for granted in the workplace. At times individuals need a framework for written communication in the business world. The main aim of this course is to improve getting the message across accurately, briefly and clearly.
This interactive workshop will give delegates time to practise the main forms of business writing and to improve accuracy and confidence.
By the end of this course delegates will be more able to:
- Explain how to plan any business document
- Explain the structure for letters, reports and emails
- Describe how to collect, organise, prioritise and sequence the content for a report.
- Use a helpful structure for reports
- Identify and use appropriate style and language, including punctuation and grammar.
